Water, Food, Cannabis, Building Material & Clothing Testing Centers

Water, Food, Cannabis, Building Material & Clothing Testing Centers –
(This article only addresses cannabis at the moment, because the solution is do-able, sans the current government restrictions.)

The funding from Cannabis Regulation & Testing can go towards finding solutions for affordable testing and verification for safe

  • Food,
  • Water,
  • Building Materials &
  • Clothing for all humans, with Texas as a model.

This would need to be a community agency (NOT ran by the state), a University preferably, that will charge $300-$500 per pound to test and verify each pound of Cannabis.

The end, sealed package, ready for resale, with a stamp of verification along with the

  • plants growth co-ordinates,
  • land race genetics,
  • cannabinoid and terpene profile (entourage),
  • and growth statistics such as
    • indoor/outdoor,
    • organic,
    • flower time,
    • dry time,
    • and cure time, will all be included in each batch report per pound.

The packaging will be the only legal way to “SELL or RE-SELL” the plant material, either extract or flower.

*For Instance, a Colorado grower takes his 12 pounds of back yard grown cannabis to his Denver Testing Facility, pays his $3,600 to $6000.00 to get tested and packaged for sale to his nearest dispensary.

3 pounds of Gorilla Glue #69 (fictional strain) the grower wants packaged for retail, ounce or less – smell proof containers – sealed down to 7 gram containers (1 pound = 16 ounces x 4 containers = 64 small containers | 3 pounds x 64 containers = 192 products ), with lid sealed “tamper proof labels” that also have the plants IP address printed on the label, the harvest batch report, as well as the testing facilities credentials. Grower will pay $500.00 each for this process for one pound of product, $1,500.00 total for these 3 pounds and 192 products.

The higher medicinal molecule counts, the higher the retail costs, and the reason to only sell small amounts of high THC content cannabis. The higher the CBD count the more flower content should be allotted for distribution and sale.

3 pounds of Refael he wants packaged for retail, ounces – smell proof containers – sealed down to 1 ounce containers (1 pound = 16 ounces x 1 container = 16 small containers | 3 pounds x 16 containers = 48 products ), with lid sealed “tamper proof labels” that also have the plants IP address printed on the label, the harvest batch report, as well as the testing facilities credentials. Grower will pay $400.00 each pound, for this process for one pound of flower material, $1,200.00 total for these 3 pounds and 48 products.

3 pounds of Avidekel he wants packaged for retail, in one pound – smell proof containers – sealed lid (1 pound = 1 container = 3 containers | 3 pounds  = 3 products ), with lid sealed “tamper proof labels” that also have the plants IP address printed on the label, the harvest batch report, as well as the testing facilities credentials. Grower will pay $300.00 each pound, for this process for one pound of flower material, $900.00 total for these 3 pounds and 3 products.

Colorado grower will now have 192 retail ready recreational products that will go for top dollar at around $4,800 wholesale for 3 pounds when sold to a local dispensary = $1,600.00 per pound – minus testing fees of $500  – so $1,100.00 per pound now subtracting growth costs ($100.00 per pound industry average cost to grow).
$1000.oo  profit for one pound of plant material scaled for retail for recreational needs patients.

He also has 48 – 1 ounce containers of medicine that patients need for many symptoms.
This will yield $4,800.00 wholesale when sold to a dispensary for $100.00 per ounce (half the retail price of $200.00 per ounce) for 3 pounds of flower material or $1,600.00 per pound, minus testing fees of $400 per pound = $1,200.00 now subtracting growth costs ($100.00 per pound industry average cost to grow).

Retail extractor manufacturers will also bring in their finished and refined products to be tested at these testing facilities. Earning another $500 – $1000 per pound for extract packaging. This process is more intense with “food and drug” level requirements met and over achieved for testing standards for cannabis concentrates. Again the plants IP will be assigned to the package, as the seed to seal delivery method will be complete. The patient will know exactly what is in their extract verified by the testing facility and NOT the product manufacturer.
